Spitting image. It’s said that we all have at least one twin out there and for most of us we’d like that to be a glamourous celebrity. I think it’s safe to say that mummy blogger Akeisha Land doesn’t need to keep searching because the internet has decided that her long lost twin is none […]
I completely agree. Inevitably when we become mothers, we have to take time off to look after our children. For a lot of people, this is for the duration of maternity but others may choose to take longer off, sometimes even until their children start secondary school or later. Each mother will make this decision […]
It comes just days before the next general election. Yesterday [January 31], a group of Fridays for Future school strikers, who cannot vote in the upcoming election because of their age, expressed their frustration and delivered a list of nine demands to political party headquarters in Dublin, pleading with politicians for faster and fairer climate […]
We love posts like this. Female celebrities are often compared and pitted against each other which is really unfair and sets a bad example for the young women who admire them. It’s hard enough to be a woman without feeling like you have to compare yourself to everyone around you. Recently Stacey Solomon and cleaning […]
Don’t mess with Chrissy. Chrissy Teigen is known for being vocal on social media and has gained a huge fan following for her witty posts and of course, adorable family snaps. Several times in the past, she has stood up for herself when receiving online criticism for her personal and parenting life choices. Recently, Chrissy […]

Situated in Dublin city centre, the bookstore’s event is jam packed with Hogwarts inspired activities. Held in […]
A welcome addition to their collections. Having a child with additional needs comes with certain challenges but there are ways to make things easier for parents. If the clothing hasn’t been adapted for wheelchair use, dressing your child can take a considerable amount of time in the morning. Dunnes Stores has always been a staple […]
Childcare has been a big issue in Ireland for a long time. Many families across the country struggle to afford childcare and those who can afford it find there is a lack of available places in crèches. In addition to this, most childcare providers working in the sector say they are being drastically underpaid and […]
Incredible. Over the last few days Australia has been ravaged by bush fires that have killed millions of animals and taken the lives of several people. The loss of so many animals alone could have devastating effects for the Australian eco-system, even after the land recovers from the fires. Not surprisingly the Irwin family jumped […]
“Run down and emotional”. Amy Schumer’s honest approach has won over other mums – she doesn’t beat around the bush when it comes to mammy nappies, breastfeeding struggles and fertility issues. However, her latest post is deeply personal and sure to resonate with anyone who has experienced IVF. Most recently Schumer posted to Instagram to share […]
This is so sweet. I’m not going to lie I spent most of the Christmas holidays eating selection boxes (don’t want the kids to have too much sugar) and messing around with apps on social media. One popular one that has been doing the rounds on Instagram is a random selection game which gives you […]
