The Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights is one of nature’s most beautiful phenomena. are the result of electrons colliding with the upper reaches of Earth’s atmosphere.
The weather conditions in Northern Ireland and the UK were perfect for spotting the majestic display of light and colour, and people took to Twitter to share their beautiful snaps with the world.
