Prepare to become obsessed with this brilliant gif of Hillary Clinton’s amazed face

Modern media is a funny thing.

You can spend an hour carefully laying out your core beliefs, your history, your vision for an entire continent of people – and all anyone will really be talking about the next day is a 4-second gif of a facial expression you made.

This is the fate that has been visited upon newly-minted US Democratic nominee for the White House, Hillary Clinton.

PHILADELPHIA, PA - JULY 28: Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton acknowledges the crowd at the end on the fourth day of the Democratic National Convention at the Wells Fargo Center, July 28, 2016 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton received the number of votes needed to secure the party's nomination. An estimated 50,000 people are expected in Philadelphia, including hundreds of protesters and members of the media. The four-day Democratic National Convention kicked off July 25. At the end of her speech last night to the Democratic National Convention, Clinton was joined on stage by her husband, Bill, as tons of celebratory balloons rained down upon them, and indoor-fireworks started exploding overhead.

Hillary’s surprised reaction to the spectacle really is a wonder to behold.

It can mean whatever you want it to.

Especially when it comes to talking about being drunk, on drugs or just generally mad-out-of-it.

Thank you Hillary. Hail to the Command-her in chief.
