An old thread has resurfaced about the strangest things our parents banned from us

There was always something.

When we were kids, our parents would ban the strangest things. Especially if you were first-born, it’s likely that your mam and dad wrapped you up in cotton wool and wouldn’t allow you to do or watch anything.

For example, I was not allowed roller skates ‘in case I fell and bashed my teeth’. I still don’t know how to roller skate to this day.

Well, a writer on Twitter asked his followers to name what their parents banned as kids after he revealed he wasn’t allowed to watch Sabrina the Teenage Witch. It was first asked back in January last year but has been doing the rounds on social media this week again.
