Penn Badgley has landed another chilling role
Following his thrilling portrayal of Joe Goldberg in You, Penn Badgley has landed yet another gripping role. The actor will star in the Prime Video adaptation of Benjamin Stevenson’s novel Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone.
The tagline reads: “Set deep in the dense mountains of Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, the series follows Ern Cunningham (Badgley), a mystery-writing expert who reluctantly attends a family reunion to welcome his brother Michael home from prison – the same brother Ern helped convict. When a frozen body appears, and a snowstorm traps everyone inside, the deaths begin to mount. Everyone in his family has already killed someone – either by accident or otherwise.”
There’s no doubt the Gossip Girl actor will be as thrilling and tense as ever in this whodunit
David Hemingson has joined the project as showrunner and executive producer. Jeanne Snow, Bruna Papandrea, and Steve Hutensky will also act as executive producers.
Badgley will also be an executive producer, as well as starring in the Prime series.
The rest of the cast has not yet been announced, but we cannot wait to see who will join Penn Badgley in this series.
What is Everyone In My Family Has Killed Someone about?
I knew our family reunion wouldn’t end well. But I didn’t expect murder. Maybe I should have known better. After all, everyone in my family is a killer.
My parents, my siblings, my in-laws, even me. The deaths weren’t all deliberate, of course. Accidents happen. So when a body is found in the snow, it’s clear it’s the work of a Cunningham. But which one? And why? I’ll give you one clue: it wasn’t me. But a piece of advice? Never trust a Cunningham.
